In the United States, the 4th of July represents freedom and independence. However, to the United Nations, it will be the day of their annual global gun ban conference for 2006. Anti firearms freedom attendees include representatives from so called ally nations such as Australia and Canada. Worst of all, Liberals from our own back yard will also be attending, hoping to add momentum to a domestic ban of legal firearms, taking freedom away from Americans on our own Independence Day.

Among the Americans attending the global gun ban conference is actor Michael Douglas. He is among the growing group of liberal Hollywood stars out to strip away our 2nd amendment freedom.

National Rifle Association Vice President Wayne LaPierre has put out a warning about the U.N., stating their intentions to ban more than just land mines and illegal weapons trading. His warning explains how the U.N. wants to take legal firearms away from citizens of the United States. Their body is basically about banning all firearms, period.

He has also released a must read book titled, “The Global War on Your Guns.” In his book he discusses the activities of the United Nations and this upcoming July 4th gun ban conference.

LaPierre discusses how a 1997 land-mine treaty actually molded the U.N.’s new anti-gun strategy. The United Nations uses American tax revenue to invest in anti-2nd amendment groups and liberal extremists who want to take away your freedom, with your own money!

Don’t be mislead by names such as “International Action Network on Small Arms,” for buried under the righteous sounding propaganda is a clear agenda to ban all firearms everywhere.

The book, “The Global War on Your Guns” is a must read. Furthermore, if you haven’t already contacted your local congressman about this issue, then you are also enabling the gun grabbers to spend your money to take away your freedom.
