Authors: What/How to Post
What to Post:
First and foremost, write about a particular firearm. Firearm review and discussion is the core of what this site is about. People will be interested in learning about a new pistol, rifle, or collectable firearm. This includes information on the gun value, how it works, and your overall analysis of that gun, its strengths and weaknesses.
Legislation and Gun Rights are also of great interest to readers. Talk about gun rights in general or specific legislation that is harmful or helpful to hobbyists, hunters, and the industry in general.
How to Post:
Include pictures for firearms posts. A one-paragraph blurb makes up the portion of a post visible on the home page. Using the MORE tag the post is then continued when the reader clicks more. Exceptions can be made for two brief paragraphs.
The photo you include in the first paragraph or portion before the MORE should be small, no larger than 250 pixels wide and 200 tall.
Include more pictures at the end of the story for the firearm you are discussing. Take care not to use images that are watermarked or include copyright information from another web site or publication.
For legislative information provide plenty of links to back of your assertions and the legislation. If discussing something in the news, provide links to a creditable news source.
Spell check your writing, be professional, and do not use any profanity.
Thanks!
