Lurking the world of online auction sites such as GunBroker.com and Auction Arms are some of the most unscrupulous firearms dealers around. There are many reputable and honest sellers who deal on Internet auction sites. However, it’s the crooks and liars you should identify and avoid. When one is spotted by a site author or creditable contributor, we will post all the details of the individual here as part of our effort to help you avoid getting the short end of an online firearms transaction.

Seller describes in detail item except intentionally neglects to mention missing parts. Seller claims that missing parts are obvious by the item photograph. This seller has been reported to VISA and Gunbroker.com. Seller also sends inappropriate email with profanity, lacking business ethics and professionalism.

Level Warning (Red): Completely Avoid Seller: Ships a defective item then holds replacement for ransom attempting to extort further funds from the buyer. This seller has been reported to the FTC and related legal claims exist. Feedback doesn’t tell the story since seller often reciprocates negative feedback, discouraging buyers from risking negative feedback.

Although seller’s eBay feedback is ok, this individual who identifies himself only as MW has many negative comments on GunBroker.com.

Seller is either honestly ignorant of firearms or intentionally misrepresents auction items.
